Father’s Day family supper and The Pine

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

I hope all you dads out there had a wonderful Father’s Day! P got to celebrate doing what he loves most, playing golf! He and EH started the day with a breakfast date, then P was able to do some father-in-law bonding while playing 18 holes. After that EH and I met him on the course so he and P could play a few holes together.

To start the weekend off The Pine hit it out of the park with a family style dinner special featuring a 16oz Painted Hills bone-in rib-eye, 2 salads & 3 sides. Sunday brunch also featured the Painted Hills Ribeye with roasted chanterelles, sunny egg, maitre’d butter & arugula!

For dinner we met at my parents house and cooked the last of the 16oz Painted Hills bone-in rib-eye…YUM!

My mom made a delicious platter of fresh tomatoes and mozzarella and P sautéed homegrown squash!

Well wishes to the start of a new week! EH is off to “Construction Mania” camp this week and I am hoping to get his bathroom stripped and painted. I also hope to make some more progress on the buffet and am excited to plan a small dinner for friends that just moved back into town.
